Age groups

  • At this age children are still developing their hand-eye coordination. We work on passing drills, first time dribbling and shooting exercises.

  • At this age our coaches focus more on running and passing drills, standing layups and learning the rules of the game.

  • In this age group we start focusing on more advanced dribbling, passing and layup drills while continuing to master the rules of the game. We also introduce strength and explosiveness exercises.

  • Our grades 7 and 8’s are gearing up for high school basketball teams. Here we focus on dribbling down the lane, shooting jump shots and free throws, and how to create space in the post. At this level we also work on building strength and explosiveness.

Our Mission

We strive to teach, support and create an inclusive environment for kids of all skill levels. Whether your child is new to basketball or a skilled player, Swish City will level up their ball game. Our focus on building our students fundamentals is an integral part of developing their basketball IQ. We also work on building strength and explosiveness with the goal of improving overall athleticism. We dedicate 50% of our students time to game play providing a mix of fun, exercise and education.
